ok i had changed my headers and then all of a sudden my battery died completely but alternator is fine.. but after my car had died my cluster has been acting up.
1. speedometer doesnt move
2. odometer stopped turning
3. my motor rev limits at 6k(at least thats what the tach says)
4. brake and battery lights are dim until i pull up the e-brake battery light turns off completely and brake light brightens
any suggestons or thoughts?

 

Your altentaor is dead or dying.

Thats what happens when there isnt enough power, its very scary at first to see nothing work, but thats what it is

 

so because of the dying alternator my car would automatically choose to only rev to 6k?
man this is so nerve wrecking
