this topic has been covered before. you could but it would be a lot of work and then you would have a tach that redlines at 8 grand when the ex only goes to 6800 and the tach would say Si on it which is dumb if you don't have an SI.

that's an even worse idea; to have the top be red and bottom be blue. as for the original question, easiest (only?) way to is get the cluster from an si, which would be lame since you wouldn't be able to reach the redline. i suggest forgetting about it.

hey guyz sorry i didnt clarify what exactly i was hoping to change.

i was thinking of it just being a bulb change and the blue going from blue to red, because of the fact that there is the SI symbol, and the it does redline farther than my ex.

So to change the bulb is that a bad idea??..or is it duable?..cuz i just want to make my Gauges red, cuz that is just plain ol sexy

I seen people do the lights on the ac unit and radio but never the whole tach, I dont even know if it can be done. Just be happy with the blue.... its not gonna happen, besides then the tach would be blue with red lights,....... ugh

no, it's physically painted with red or blue, i took my clusters out to get a look at it and found that it's not the bulb, it's actually the face that's coated. u can try to make a custom one if u seriously want to change the color... just do the measurements and all that good stuff and change the face. =\ i wanted red too, but u'd have to change both clusters, so, eh, i didnt want to do that bcuz of the tach, it's a lot of work, and also because it says si. i'll pro look at it once again just to see what options you have.

Yeah the cluster is colored. You'll have to change the whole thing. What's wrong with blue? Loves blue here.
