i have a z6 i need help wireing v-tec ...... does anyone have any helpful ideas ?

 

Elaborate that, then we can help. What year is the car, what ECU are you using, what engine was originally in the car?

 

got a 92 honda civic hatch cx had d15 no vtec .... i have a p72 ecu which i dont think will work .... the new motor is a d16z6...i was gonna get a p28 but the p72 came around so if i have to get a p28 i can trade ..... or sell that and buy a different one....... plez help...

 

Your car is prewired for VTEC. Assuming you have the Z6 harness, all you will need to do is rewire your 1-wire O2 sensor to the 4-wire O2 sensor. You'll need the P28.

 

you have a 92 civic which came wired for vtec on the chassis side. just make sure that the z6's engine wire harness wasn't cut and it'll be plug and play. but the ecu, don't know off the top of my head? you can use it to try it out, but you should use a virgin p28 though.
