Default greddy turbo kit questions

I am going to buy a greddy turbo kit next week, what all do I need that doesn't come with the kit. I know I need a timer, boost controller, and blow off valve. My car is pretty much already prepped, I have ignition, fuel system, clutch, guages, etc. Also, what are some recommendations on brands for parts.

Thanks

you should do some research on here....it worked out really well for me

butt as for the stuff you need, it depends on your budget. you'd wanna get a BOV, spark plugs. dont really need a BC or a timer yet.

whats your fuel system and do you have an exhaust yet?

you'll need hondabond or some form of gasket material, a bov wouldn't hurt but isn't a necessity at the "out of the box" 4.5psi, plugs that are 1 heat range colder, if manual a new clutch, fuel pump wouldn't hurt but isn't a must need item at first. the kit is pretty complete except for the bov, and general maitenance items

greddy sucks for sohc. get a drag and it comes with everything you need. a greddy sohc can get beat by a stock gsr. trust i know thats what i had before. DRAGS everything!

did you have anything else done, b/c i talked to a guy that said he ran low 14's with the greddy kit, and he only turbo + all the little stuff (exhaust, ignition etc.)
of course it could have only been talk, but........

the greddy kit is real good for road racing but for drag it sucks

I dont know about fuel pump "not hurting" if you have seen any dynos w/ the base 5.5 psi the car isnt exactly dying for fuel. . .its more like running richer than Bill Gates!
