Low pressure fuel regulator... help?
Just thought this would be the best place to post this question since modern hondas use EFI and no one seems to know anything about carbs, or where to get any parts for them these days (lol)
I'm asking this because I have a EE6 CRX. Not exactly a classical (yeat
), but it runs on carburators.
The thing is I thought about going vtec (ha! the things they invented..)
and as so I had to remove my head along with the mechanical cam driven fuel pump, with in turn is one with the regulator!!
(they have to make this things on purpose to **** people off for sure
)
So the question is.. witch classical carburetor honda has a return style fuel pressure regulator (not integrated in the pump of course)??? And who might sell a aftermarket adjustable one (for cheap, not some 80$ bucks and up unit!)

I'd say if you're ditching the stock fuel pump and pressure regulator, just go aftermarket and don't worry about using a return line. Just get yourself a good carb'd fuel pump and traditional fuel pressure regulator. Don't buy the crappy shucks / autozone regulator, it's total garbage. Toss a gauge on it, and regulate the fuel flow properly.
