Fuel Setup Questions:
Is it ok to mount FPR on firewall? if not, where is a good spot (pics would be great) same question for Inline fuel filter...
I tried to snake my -8 feed through the stock routing location (eg) and it doesnt fit, where do you guys route your braided lines?

ive seen many FPR's mounted direct to firewall. i belive the rulebook states it cannot be inline with the clutch/flywheel/bellhousing.
run your braided line, attach to chassis with cushion clamps. (metal with rubber cushion) should be able to pick them up at a local hardware store.
i would mount the inline filters at the back of the car before and after the pump. however i have seen an inline filter(BDL) mounted on the firewall (underpressure02's car)
i mounted my FPR on the pass side shock tower.

ive seen people ziptie their lines to the oem stuff under there. i would just run them with the other brake and fuel lines under there, just cushion clamped and bolted up.

I went down to home depot and got some of those clamps, now I just need to find some cushion clamps big enough for the filter..

You can remove the fuel feed hard line from the brackets, open up the diameter of the bracket where the fuel feed line routes with with a dremel and a cartridge roll, and you'll be able to squeeze a -10AN line in there securely. A -12AN line would probably be too large tho.
We used a pair of electrical conduit brackets secured in the factory holes where the stock fuel filter bracket mounted. It's sandwiched in there with a thin piece of rubber wrapped around the filter to dampen vibration and to keep it from walking.

hmm. it appears mine is actually directly inline with the bellhousing. i wonder if someone is going to say something about this at the track. but anyway. i did mine a little different. here it is...

Is your tank sumped? If it is, just mount the inline filter under the car. If not, I'm sure you can get creative with it. Aeromotive sells brackets for their filters, which you can mount directly to the firewall or wherever you have room that is in conjunction with the rules.
