Default d15b block d16y8 head mini-me into odb2 d16y8 civic

so im getting a minime swap for really cheap to replace my old worn y8. im concerned getting the obd1 block installed (mounts) and running (ecu/sensors). from what i remember a z6 or y8 ecu can run either motor including mini-me's (harness compatability aside). being an obd2 head the alt/dist plugs will all work so will i be able to get the mini me to plug and play into my harness/ecu? I think the only problem ill have is a check engine for the crank sensor, will that cause it not to run? is there any cheap fix for that?

and about mounts, are obd1/2 d series the same?

so no wiring/mount issues with the b7 block?
im going to search if there's a way to wire a crank sensor in the obd1 block.

if i hook up all obd2 parts, and buy adapter harness to use obd1 ecu, will that work?

you should look for a y7 block, they are very cheap, usually like 100$ for a motor, its already obd2(crank sensor) , and when mated with a y8 head it will bump up compression.

i think im going to.
the seller of the mini-me i was going to buy flaked
my goal is to learn how to rebuild a d-series.
i need to get my crap outta my car,
it has a hesitant low-range and slipping clutch but doesnt burn oil though
so i need to buy a temp mini-me/y8/z6 while i spend the cold winter rebuilding
