ok i replaced my clutch back in OCT and about a month ago i started noticing that if i am accelerating in third or any gear for that matter and i accelerate past 3600 RPMs if i suddely have to back off for say cornering or just for slowing downs sake when the gear is winding down it sonds like something is loose and slipping or just not gripping what it should be(maybe some sort of disc) and the sound is coming from the clutch pedal area itself. i decided to ask a mechanic and all he could tell me is that he would have to remove my clutch just to check it and charge me 350 just to pull down the tranny. i dont mind doing that just as long im not wasting money on doing the wrong thing if its not necessary. i have no other shifting issues whatsoever.
