Default test pipe

i just put a comptech header in my 03 dc5 but now i want a hi flow cat and i was reading the description on the megan hi flow test pipe and it had a note 'although the o2 plugs are there an o2 simulator maybe needed to stop from any check engine lights on' what does that mean exactly?

The Test Pipe has no catalytic converter. What happens is that the second 02 sensor won't read a correct temperature change and think that you've got a malfunctioning cat, it'll throw a check engine light, and you'll be up a creek. Test pipes are also going to fail any emissions test, so don't even try it if you have to get emissions....

Anyway, if you don't have KPRO or a simulator, you'll have a CEL code.

So if i have KPRO or that simulator the test pipe should work fine?? how do i go about getting one of those simulators??

check your local auto parts store for that defouler.

It cost me less than ten dollars to do everything myself, from a local auto parts store. I'm also running the megan test pipe and I love it!
