replaced headgasket and timing belt now car wont start..*SEARCHED*
basically as title says i replaced the headgasket in a d15b7 and the timing belt and waterpump.. now the car wont start.. its getting spark and a compression test read 150-160 psi across.. any help please?
try removing the distributor and turn it 180 degrees. u do have spark but it might be at the exact wrong time. i had that problem on a 04 chev. tracker with a f suzuki motor in it that i changed the head gasket on . once we flipped it it fired right up.

double check its not a tooth off, that's what it sounds like. check to make sure your getting fuel too. check your fuses as well. one might have gotten fried.

sounds to me like you might want to get a manual for your car they help you out some
but timing can be off quite a bit and not have too much effect you need to get to tdc and then spin your motor 2 rotations on the cam gear and make sure you are still tdc and then give er a try if you have already then you should double check everything shoot i had my car way off and it would still start then get to 4000 and fall on its face

if u have a camera, take some pics of the arrow on the oil pump lining up with the mark on the crank sprocket and the cam gear at TDC just to shut us all up.
checked TDC AGAIN lol was rite on.. i found i'm not getting fuel for some reason.. i dumped a small amount of gas into each cylinder and if fired a lil then went back to cranking.. WTFFFF
more help please?

crank the ignition over some times and pop a plug smell for gas if no gas smell you need to start their but it sounds to me like you need to start over from step one i assume that you have a chilton or haynes repair manual or have access to the net better yet to find the operation and read it and figure out what you did wrong make sure every thing is right i did a swap not to long ago me and a buddy and he left off a ground on simple ground and it would not start long story short human error can set u back hop back on the horse and start looking for whats out of place
