Default Advance Timing on Distributor 14,16 or 18 btdc on chipd ecu?

Hey Guys, I am in need of a little help.

I have a 2000 gs-r which is obd2b. I converted over to obd1 with a p06.
I chipped it and also did the auto to manual mod and the non-vtec to vtec mod.
I am also going to run IAB's but i am just waiting for some transistors to come in from digikey.

I just wanted to know, with a chipped ecu running a crome basemap should the timing at
the distributor be set at 14, 16 or 18 btdc?
Or does it not matter?

One other question, would the StockGSRTUNEP30BASE.BIN on xenocron's site be the
best base to start off with?
Basically my car is mostly stock with the addition of
a bpi stack, t1r header, t1r testpipe and t1r cat back. I tried to find a base that had been
altered to compliment these mods but couldnt find anything. If any of you guys have
a bolt on gs-r map please let me know.

Thanks Guys,

Chris

Set your timing at the distributor to stock, and make adjustments to your timing maps in CROME. Your setup seems basically stock with bolt-ons, so yes, the stock bin should be a decent place to start.
