Default GSr popping outta gear... PLease help soon

I have a 94 del sol with a b16a and a gsr trannsimission. For some reason When im on the highway cruising it pops outta 5th gear. It doesnt happen with any other gear. The only thing i could think thats cuasing it is the fact that i have all hasport motor mounts except the tranny mount. The tranny mount is stock. Also the bushing on the shift linkage is a little torn up.. does anyone know the answer?

You dont even have to change the synchro. Its called a blocking ring and there is one on both sides of each synchro. it is what holds it in gear. if your synchro was bad it would grind going into that gear. if you have enough faith to tear it apart you could get one for like 10 bucks maybe even less.

it wont do anything but be annoying. the worst thing that could happen is after long term use it could break up and get caught in the gears.

good guess is probally around a grand. cause once they get in there they are going to reconmend everything that needs to be replaced. so and if certain gears on the coumter shaft are messed up then you have to get another counter shaft only certain gears come off. and those same gears can be changed on the main shaft.

It seems like the biggest challenge will be finding an honest mechanic or shop who can fix that single gear without trying to charge you for a complete rebuild of the whole transmission.
