I just picked up a 90 civic wagon and it has the 1.5L engine, It has a little starting issue, once in a while it starts fine sometimes it just cranks and doesn't start I will let it sit like 20 min and try again then it will start but slowly start. also once in a while while im at idle the engine light will come on and the idle quickly raises about 300 rpm higher, and after that point usually is when it wont start, but eventually it will, I just picked it up 4 cheap w a blown head gasket, I swapped that out and the fuel filter and thats all, It had the starting problem before I swapped the gasket. What could it be? ignition or fuel problem idle sensor? I will run the trouble codes later on today.
