Default what ecu to run????

i'm in the process (actually pretty much completed) of turboing my 93, b16a swapped del sol. my question is...what ecu is everyone running. seems like the most common answer is a p28 with some sort of chip, i.e. hondata, chrome, or some kind of data logging system. i'm not planning on running insane levels of boost, just somewhere in the range of 6-8 psi. is there anyone out there still running a p30? maybe just socketed to run a boost friendly fuel map? i've got a vafc and from i'm being told, i need to toss it out the window, or is it possible to tune with it? i'm new to the whole boosted scene and i'm just trying to get some advice from those of you who have already been down this trail.

Selling your AFC and using that money towards a socketed ECU and tuning would be your most cost-effective and reliable option. If your P30 is OBD-I, you can can have it socketed and not have to purchase an additional ECU. Your first step should be to find a reputable tuner in your area and find out what software they are most comfortable with and prefer to tune with.
