Default Tuning Question

Ok putting a d15b on boost and have a question on the fuel management... Know some guy that chips the ECU and he said that he can chip a boost set up... so im just asking can this be done. Has anybody had a chipped ecu like only a chipped ecu on a boost set up?

you need a chipped ecu with a base map. that will get you to the tuner so he can tune your car. a boost setup chipped ecu is like a N/A setup chipped ecu. it gets you to the tuner. you cant just get a chipped ecu and not get a tune..

agreed, you can not just universally make a chip for a boosted car they are each individually different and this is why the car needs to be tuned. As mentioned getting a basemap and staying out of boost to see your tuner would be the most convient method.
