No pics, but i think it looks best cleaned really good, that "new motor look" Ive tried those aluminum "look" heat paints and they just make the motor look fake.

My thoughts.

The whole polish thing and all is awesome but too much $$. I tried taking a wheel brush to the block but it just left clean and dirty spots.

I really didnt like the way it turned out, So I took a drive to ADVANCE AUTO PATS and bought some CAST COAT Aluminum paint that was not soo shinny and high heat primer.

It came out like this

I prepared the block by spraying the lose oil off by Brake Cleaner. Then wheel brush/drill for corrosion, and then clean it with purple power and a tire brush and brake clean again. Then i primed with light coats and painted with light coats. I didnt want too much paint build up. This stuff covers nice and fast.

Just a thought... honda blocks are aluminum. Aluminum expands and "breathes" as it gets hot. If you paint over it, it cant do that.Perhaps overheat?
