Bottom fuel filter line nut stripped
Yeah, so after everything I've done, I can't seem to replace a damn fuel filter on a 97 DX with a line wrench, the 14mm bottom line nut stripped on me, no matter what I tryed
Thus, what are my options now?
Thanks

Then make them tighter........."youre doing it wrong"
Are you using pliers that have rounded jaws or flat?
Did you use any PB Blaster ahead of time?
Edit***
Wait, this is going to be a dumb question, but you cant put dumb past anyone.
You are turning it the correct direction, arent you? Its upside down...

That sucks! I just replaced my fuel filter and that bottom nut is a PITA. I used some WD-40 and 2 open-end wrenches to break the filter and nut apart as shown below. However, mine wasn't stripped.

I seriously cannot understand what has gone so wrong here.
Either way, if you feel that youve reached the end of your options, yes, you can cut the line (USE A PIPE CUTTER! NOT A GRINDING WHEEL).
The fitting is m10, I believe, which is the same as those for the stock brake lines (you can buy a hardline with fittings, from the parts store, cheaply.
Double flare the end.
Before you do this, however, I cannot stress how important it is that you make sure you have enough slack in the line to do this. You will lose at least 1" of the line, so be sure you have 2" minimum of slack. To verify, just leave the line attached, and undo the 3 nuts securing the filter to the firewall.

What has gone wrong is the nut will not [freak]ing move.
It was moving slightly for about 2 turns, then it completely stopped. I myself am amazed at what this has turned into, but it has.
