Sputtering when held at constant RPM, fine idling, fine WOT... Where to start?
I did a search but everybody with a sputter problem has problems at WOT. Mine's different.
Here's the situation. b16a, stock, has been running fine. When idling, no problems when WOT no problems. Even when accelerating slow, no problems.
It sputters when I'm holding a constant RPM, pretty much anywhere in the whole rpm range. As an example when you would be holding a constant 35mph through town, or 55 on the highway, it sputters and pops. Give it just a little throttle so that it's accelerating, no problem. Mash it WOT, no problem. Find and hold a cruising speed, sputtering and popping. Sounds pretty miserable.
I've got an elcheese-o A/F gauge in the car, and it's kind of bouncing all over while it's sputtering. No CEL's.
Thanks for any input.

Hmm. Will check that. I'm gonna check my fuel injectors and related wiring, too.
