Default Driving w/bad LMA's?

What could be the consequences from driving about 5 miles with bad LMA's? Just need to get the car back to my house but not sure if it would ruin my day. I'll prolly tow it but i just want to know.

How did you diagnose that they were bad?

On start up, it clacks a little. Then gets worse as the RPM's go up. One of my friends knows a lot more about honda's than I do and said he had the same noises and it was the LMA's. It's not a huge deal. I have a B16 head I'm going to swap it with while i build the gsr head. I'm just curious more than anything.

Could just be noisy valves, why not just set them and check?

I'll give that a try and see what I come up with.
