HELP PLEASE!! TYPE R in crx idle problems
allright this is what i got usdm b18c5 with type r intake mani and a gsr TB .. will this work or do i need type r TB?? ...... gsr TB works but the motor idles crappy and sputters through acceleration.. ive adjusted adjusted air fuel screw on TB and its still wack.. My gsr ecu throws a 21 and a 14 which are air idle control valve which ive swapped with two other ls ones and it doesnt do crap.. and the other code is vtec solenoid or pressure something but there both hooked up right according to my obd1 jumper harness. . and one more thing i put a d series pvc valve on the oil catch can that runs to the mani.. will the d series pvc mess with pressures?? sux cause motor is brand new and should run like a champ ... thanks

? about the thread.............. the part that he covered the hole. do you keep that plugged with some sort of tape. and run your car like that? i plug mine and it ran better. but i don't know if i could leave it on and run it like that.

no i dont leave the hole plugged..but im going to try everything from that bad idling thread thx guys! and as for my wiring i am using my stock si wiring harness with obd1 plugs connected and i took my time and double triple checked when i did the dizzy and injectors and whatnot.. im also using d16a6 obd1 injectors, to run those injectors we cut off the resist box and connected the reds and the yellow.. thats all that was needed to run the obd1 injectors right??
by the way when we first started the car it started in three cranks and ran perfect for a hour til my friend messed with the air fuel screw but thats not the prob now.

today i put a ls tb on it and cleaned the hell out of the air idle control valve and changed the pcv valve to a type r one and it was still runnin booty. i swapt the fuel rail cause im running a str and my buddy said that he ran one on his ls and it ran like **** . . i put a ls fuel rail on and it runs FREAKIN AWESOME.. so im guessing that you gotta have the right injectors for the bigger rail or youll be sputterin. .. no more black smoke and vtec kiks beautifully .. so my wiring was good for the most part cause i still have a cel 21 ?? any more suggestions
