car runs bad when weather is hot

Default car runs bad when weather is hot

when i go to work early in the morning my car runs normal but when i get off work and try to make it home my car runs weird and can hardly accelerate ang get up to speed. what causing this? anyone pls help

any car runs bad in hot and humid weather...do you keep your a/c on?

nope, removed my ac. i dont think its normal when it is this bad, it really feels like im towing a car

possibly look into getting a better radiator and fan, keeps the engine cooler.

ive heard of some issues with the main relay thing with hot weather...
just an idea.
dang i cannt find the link now. it said just to pull the relay and unsolder the joints and resolder it and it should work.

from what ive read the heat effects the metal making it loose contact. tho it keeps the car from runing. but it runs fine when its cool out. maybe yours is just starting to weaken.

what does the main relay do about the engine running crappy?

Either main relay or fuel relay under the dash. Replace it and you're good to go.

Friend had that with his teggy. Might search teamintegra.com to find articles on it.

teamteg is another place but i would stick to honda-tech...the search button is a lifesaver and take your time and read the forums...im sure there were a few people that had similar problems
