HOT HOT HOT!( I really mean hot!)
I know this has been discussed before, but my car is running seriously hot. The car is running so hot, if I have my windows down, you can feel the heat radiating from the engine caompartment. I noticed that recently, if I don't turn the car off, the fan will not run. Is this normal? Sitting at a light for a few seconds I see the guage rise quickly and my car stalls out. I ran without using the AC for a while, but it was pointless. Please help!

my car does this too...but it's not as bad as you describe...the ac isn't ice cold and when you just run the fan on 'cold' air it isn't really cold...it's warm...i dunno what to tell you man...but mine does just about the same thing!

yeah, there's really only a few problems that would cause your car to run hot: radiator/cooling efficiency. check the level of fluid in your engine, and replace your thermostat .. (i heard jackson racing made really reallly good ones) and if that doesnt help, then you might have a leak somewhere that isnt allowing the fluid to get to your engine, if so check all your hoses (usually just the main one running from the radiator to the engine)

If you run your heat it will help some, but i would replace the thermostat ASAP and see if that helps. O, Jackson Racing doesn't make Thermostats, they just put their names on them and sell them for a few extra dollars more than normal.
