dc2 integra type r LSD into 99 civic with b16a2 with hydraulic transmission
hi,, could someone please tell me the ways of fitting a integra type r dc2 lsd into a b16a2 from a 99 civic vti jordan. basically the same as a SI but a hatch.
i have heard there is possible troubles with the final gear and bolt alignment on this!
please help i have already got the lsd and am keen to have it fitted asap as traction is a bit of a issue with a fully built turbo engine and all.....

Ring gear for the ITR is different than EK B series tranny, so the diff won't swap into a EK tranny without also swapping in an ITR ring and pinion set.
do i need the pinion aswell as the ring? i can get hold of the itr ring off ebay at the mo!! but the pinion i have searched for without success
thanks for the response
will just a b18 ring gear and pinion work or do it have to be itr or gsr?

I would not feel comfy about running a mismatched ring and pinion set. If you look at the ring and pinion gears where they mesh you'll see very distinct grooves cut in them - ideally they would need to match.
If you have a fully built turbo setup why would you skimp on the lsd? Why not just get an aftermarket one, surely it would be a better piece than a stock itr one...
