Default itb's with suge tank or pleanum

has anybody seen or ran a set of itb's with a pleanum
i was kinda thinking of trying it on my h22, run a set of twm 52m
and run like an approx 2liter pleanum on it and just run like a
4in intake out the light to feed the itb's

has anybody ran a car like this
pics would be sweet

i would think it would give u more of street car like powerband
but still give you power over the oem manifold.

it would be easier to tune as well i think

someboy post up,,,, and pics

I heard that F-1 and Indycars run a pleanum with there NA engines. But who know's you may be on to something. Maybe even a 1970's F5000 car.

that isnt a plenum. I dont know maybe some teams use it however i would imagine that have rules governing manifold use.

The factory ITB'd Toyota's and BMW's use a plenum style intake. And there not much bigger than the Honda single throttle body plenum setup. Take a look at the thread about the Honda Beat project here on H-T. It has a 3 cylinder engine that uses an individual throttle body and plenum setup as well. Click here! There are pics of the Beat ITB's and the half-n-half aluminum & plastic plenum it uses on page 3 of this thread.

I believe TWM, Jenvey, ITG and Pipercross all sell airboxes for ITBs.
