did a compression test after fixing my timing: https://honda-tech.com/zero...14308 . and I got (1)140-(2)180-(3)180-(4)180. The test was done at operating temp but i forgot to do it at WOT
, will retest it tomorrow, but that cyl #1 is off by a lot, im guessing a have a bent valve? I searched but I couldn't come up with anything solid... any more insight would be great. And for some reason my adapter from my tester got stuck in the spark plug hole.

k im gonna check my valve clearances for cyl #1 as well... I doubt it's my piston rings because, i started having issues when my timing was off by a lot, so im guessing a piston bumped into a valve, bending it, causing shitty compression.
im gonna take my old z6 head into a performance shop and have them service the valves on it and maybe mill it down a tad. Is it okay to drive around with a bent valve for a little while???

Yeah you can drive with a burnt valve but a bent one can be dangerous to your pistons if it does break and drop into the cylinder then its bye bye to the pistons. Do a leakdown test if possible and you should be able to tell the problem by listening if air is escaping from the im/ exhaust manifold or if it is leaking into an adjacent cylinder. It is way more accurate than a compression test.

i adjusted my valves and the car SOUNDED better, i was letting it warm up and i was holding the rpms at like 2-3k, and it just shut off again (had this problem before thus the head rebuilding), and my timing jumped AGAIN and my spare cam gear broke and now im down to zero! wtf, im gonna start a new thread for this prob. now...
