I just changed plugs, wires & fuel filter & my idle went from 1500 (which I thought was a lil high) to about 500 whether its warm or cold... is that ok or do I need to do somethin?

 

is your a/c on??? adjust distributor, or turn idle screw out on throttle body.

 

I'd take 500 over 1,500. I think regularly it's around 700.

 

it sounds like you goofed on the plug wires spots, so now its mis firing and struggling to run, does the motor run like garbage?

 

Nope engine runs perfect doesnt putt or anything its actually so quiet and smooth now that I gotta rev it sometimes to make sure its running but Ive checked firing sequence & all plugs are fine. Im not throwing codes & the car runs perfect I just want to make sure that the RPMs are ok or what they should be THANKS

 

factory idle is 5-7 hundred rpms, your good If you dont feel comfortable with it just turn your idle screw on the throttle body.
