Default 1st gear sounds like reverse when hi rpm

just like topics says. sometimes it would go when i slowly steeping the gas. when i shift second you can slighty hear it. but sometimes not. what can it be guys.

- put the vehicle up the lift. an put it on first gear an step on the gas, no noise has been made.

- replace driver side wheel bearing.

-people opinion.

- throw out bearing
- transmission
-caliper piston isnt disagaging

an last. does anyone know what teh problem is? or has ran across it? im getting very angry

bad tranny bearings, both mainshaft bearings and the countershaft top bearing are the most failure prone.

my car does the same thing it would whine in second but recently it stopped and is now doing it in third

i was thinking it was a throw out bearing

are you having any problems going in and out of gear ? like it sometimes it feels like the clutch isnt disengaging ?

usually when the clutch wont disengage it is because your clutch is out or at least will be .....

for the last time....the bearings in the transmission are bad. this happens all the time on these. It will have to be cracked open and have several bearings replaced. its NOT the throw out bearing.

Definitely sounds like a throw out bearing if it makes a noise then you push in the clutch and it goes away as for the clutch you will be able to tell if its bad when you take the tranny out to change the bearing
