Default I have a B16 block, ls motor, b16 head with type r internals, what should I do?

A few months ago i didnt have **** but my 91 hatch. Now i have a b16 motor with type r cams, valve springs and pretty much everything in the type r head. I also have a complete ls motor and a b20 block. I am looking for ideas and suggestions on what to go with. I am thinking of doing a b16 head on the b20 block. Please give a detailed opinion, and or seggestions. Thanx

do the b16 head on the b20 block and just put jdm itr pistons in it and build the head. best all motor set up ever. if boost stick with the b16 and a 57 trim and arp head studs and push 12psi plus everyday.

if you have all the stuff from the type r head get a local machinist to port b16 head to typr r specs or do it better and go a lil bit more w/ the port job
then rebuild the head do a b20/vtec and slap the engine in w/ an ls tranny (lsd)
and go have some fun

WTF are you talking about?

A B20 block uses 84mm pistons, B16A/B, B18A/B , B18C engines all use 81 mm pistons

Don't spread missinformation

Rs machine 84mm itr pistons with rings 300.00 bux!!! Then put that B16 head on that B20 bottom end. I would probably use a gsr main girdle, windage tray oil pan as well just to tie everything together.

Wouldnt he have to mill the regular b16 block to fit the GSR girdle?
