Ok, I ran into a big problem. I just went to change simple brake pads and now I can not get the piston to go back in. What do you think is the problem?
This pin won't move back far einoth for me to get the caliper back in place with the new pad. Problem???
Couldn't try that because it's too small.
Did this with 1 pad in the rear still in, No luck in pushing that piston back in.
Anyone know? Had simular problems? or know another strategy?
My car is a 94'civic vx with integra suspension.

well first off you dont compress those rear calipers.. they screw in.. get a flat screw driver and turn the piston.. i think it goes clockwise to go in.. not 100% postitive tho.. you should get the tool that works for those caliper pistons, it makes it a lot easier.. but a flat screw driver will work..
Did you press the caliper back or turn it? The rear caliper pistons need to be turned back, not pressed back (only the front calipers can be pressed back with the c-clamps). Use a flat head to turn it. You can also go buy the tool at any autopart store.
