Default What does the d15b7 rev to no tach!!

I have a 95 Dx im wondering what it redline's at i just installed a SiR cluster !!

I dont wanna over rev my Dx non-vtec

Not 100% sure what the engine revs too, but the rev limiter in the ecu should prevent you from over revving the engine.

i had to use a p06 ecu on my z6 cuz my p28 was bad rev limiter is 6800 somethings not stock on your car if you went to 7200

6500 rpm is the D15B7 limiter, would read 6800 rpm on a factory tach.

my D15B7 with P28 and CEL 21/22 = 6800 rpm, 300 rpm higher than stock P06 ECU.......



Oh yeah, that was 1999.........

chipped or different ECU, tach reading WAY off.

Stock tachs are known to read 300-500 rpms high above 6000 rpms.

My Z6 chipped to 8500 rpm would read 9300 on the OEM tach.

mine redlines at 6400 like everyone elses. I'm pretty sure my rev limit is when it reads 7200 but thats only about a 70% sure on that. That and the tach is probably off, but it reads about 7200 when i've hit it before so yeah. You won't kill it by taking it to 7200 i guess but I don't do it anymore because I would rather not just in case.
