help me pick a turbo
I have a LS VTEC that I am putting in a 97 civic coupe. I would like to know what turbo I should get to have a good amount of power, but I am more concerned about spool time. I want something that will be spooled anytime I need it, but not loose steam up top. I don't care if I only make 400hp.
The motor is a 84.5mm ERL Darton sleeved B18B with Carrillo K1s, Weisco 10.1:1, Eagle oem crank, race ported and polished b16a head, complete aftermarket valve train, ctr cam, and much more.

We have a 57 trim that uses some of the Borg parts. We also have several other option for you. http://www.bullseyepower.com We make alot of out own parts and use the BW compressors and turbine wheels.

can't be too low, he built a sleeved block for 400whp.
Why spend all that money to sleeve a block and not use it to it's potential? 400whp is a drop in the bucket for a sleeved motor, with carillo rods!

I'd be happy with 400 hp if I could have it throughout most of the RPM range; something hard to ask from a large turbo. I really want to make as much power as possible on this setup but I don't want to have noticeable turbo lag.
lets put it this way...I am willing to save as much as I need to get what I really want.

Ask and you shall receive. This is my thread and numbers with the GT3255b. I never pushed it beyond 10.5psi because of the stock MAP sensor. Now that i have a built block, i got the chance to try out a BW S256, but i think with a built bottom end, you should see wonderful results with either the GT3255b or GT3255e. I was seeing full boost by 3800rpm on the street with the setup listed.
