Had a swap done on my 92 civic lx, with a jdm D15Y7. Every time i start the car when the engine is cold, it idles at 2.5k and of course the engine light comes one. However, when the engine is warm, and i turn on the car, it idles normal and the gears change at normal rpms. Made me a jumper and pulled code 12 (EGR - exhaust gas recirculation lift valve). However, i dont think i have an EGR. Where i the EGR exactly located and if i dont have an egr, what does the code mean?
