obd2 and obd1
with my swap for my turbo install, do i totally remove my obd2 right out of my car and use the plug in adapter and only have my obd1 in its place or do i hace to keep my obd2 in AND have my obd1 beside it? i think i already knwo the answer to just take it right out, but correct me if i'm wrong, i dont think anything will run off of it after i convert it right?
I'll be helpful, but you should search a little more.
You take your stock (obd2) ecu out of the car completely. If you don't have a conversion harness you need to buy one. The conversion harness plugs into your stock harness. The other side plugs into your new (obd1) ecu. Then your good to go and ready for a tune
