Looking to buy friends Vortech Setup and some N2O or just N2o
I own a 00 EBP EM1 with a B18C5- I/H/E. AEM Fuel Rail, 65 MM BDL T/B. Ported Intake Mani.
Friend is selling his Vortech Supercharger (7lb), RC440, Piping, BOV, Intercooler etc etc. He is giving me a great deal IMO $1200 for everything. He seriously needs funds to finish his turbo setup.
I am also planning to do a 50 shotI wet on top of the S/C.
How much stress is this on the motor. Daily driving. Spray 2 times a month.
If boost I will go further NA cams n valvetrain. For the bang of the buck is it worth it? I dont want to boost turbo due to the funds and all my friends are boosted.

Get the kit and buy a custom pulley or have one made. If you have a tranny like the ITR has, you really aren't spending much time below 5000rpm, unless you have a broken arm & downshift incredibly slow. Higher boost with the SC is all that's needed. The compressor they use is like a 55-60lb/m wheel, meaning up to 400whp if you increase boost a bit. Low RPm won't be spectacular, but if you start a race at 2000rpm, you need a good donkey punch anyways.
The NO2 with the SC is just a good reason for your pistons to say "I quit". I vote kit only.
