my car's been sitting for about two years and now it won't stay running unless i pump the gas. could the old fuel have lost it's potency?

yes old gas sucks, take a smaple and see if it burns on the floor! no seriously dont burn down ur house. but i would check the fuel first, generally if there is a little in there, you can add more fresh gas and it will take over and once that tank is gone you will be fine.

 

changing your fuel filter wouldnt hurt either
