Bad idea. you want it to last for years then get it tuned. not saying it will last for years cause bearings do wear. Clutches go out. the more you beat on it the more than likely something could happen.
ive had good success with a chipped ecu and tuning on crome.
lots of ppl do it. i would worry more about timing and af being
at safe levels and not making huge numbers. dont worry about psi
as much as power. around 250-300 whp seems to be decently reliable
and is still alot of fun.

with the set up i got, i just want it to last along time. 200whp ot a bit more is fine with me, just as long internal is not being stressed out too crazy.
what should i do with the set-up to make decent whp and be super reliable... i dont mind boosting at 7-8psi either...
is there other parts or things i should buy b4 slapping this on? im only using a boost gauge, would i need anything other ones?
and with crome, is that just a chipable chip? i have a chipped ecu but i dont think its crome/uberdata.

7psi will be reliable for years. You could have it tuned to 11psi on your stock map. Id Daily it on 7psi though and bump it up to 10psi on occasions.
If those are DSM injectors make sure you use a resistor box.
Not sure what car this is, but 10psi should net you around 240 to 280whp depending on your setup. In a 92-95 civic, I've been 11.9 @ 115 on 10psi. So that plenty for a daily.
Id look into getting a oil restrictor oil feed flange. This will help your turbo survive longer under high oil pressures from out engines.
Use a direct vacuum/boost source for your waste gate to help regulate boost.
Drive it normal and beat on it on occasion because beating anything puts wear on parts, stock or modified.
Run 10w40 oil. I use regular Mobile. (cheap stuff)
Check your oil and fluids frequently.
Change your engine oil every 1500 to 2000 miles if you can. It now lubes your high horsepower engine and your extremely hot turbo.
Keep High Test octane in the car, always. (91,92,93,94)
Don't see a intercooler listed, but thats a must have. It helps lower air temps A LOT as im sure you know. Ive tested mine in the past at 10psi. 210-240 degrees before intercooler and 90 to 97 after the intercooler.

Dont even try the FMU idea. Yes it works, but is it really safe?? In my opinion no. If you understand how a FMU works you would know that since its a 12:1 its increasing the fuel pressure 12psi for every pound of boost.
So ..... Base Pressure = 42 + (12psi (fuel) x 8psi (boost)) = 138psi of fuel pressure on a stock injector. Sound safe to you?
Just get the hondata or whatever tuning system you decide to use...just not a FMU

What kind of intercooler do you use? That sounds pretty effificient
