Is it safe to put a motor build for turbo in without the turbo?
Im building a Ls/vtec motor and its goin to be a for a turbo eventually so the C/r is goin to be low. Is it goin to be safe to run this motor without the turbo on until i get a turbo for it?

I would run a basemap on it, cause with the compression change your car wont run very good on it...I would look around and see if someone has a basemap for the setup your going to create.

This might be a stupid question but what is a basemap? What do you think a good ecu would be to run with this? I have a p28 would that be good to use, and i was goin to get hondata to tune it when i get the turbo, but if hondata would help me before i put the turbo on than i could do that also, whats my best bet
