I bought a 92 honda civic cx hatch it has the D15B7 i took the coil, cap and rotor, and wire out oif my buddies coupe which runs and has the same ****. I still dont have spark.... could it be the ecu or what? I also went through all the fuses the timing belt isnt broke either....

 

i am having the same problem you are and cant figure nothing out i would say try your ecu b/c it could be that if not i will let your know if i get my car to spark

 

thanks just tried my buddies ecu nothin i was told main relay but this might sound dumb i cant find it .....

 

If your check engine light comes on and then goes off after a few seconds then more then likely there is nothing wrong with the relay it self but wiring or controller leading up to that could be it. Its hard for me to say because I dont have a wiring diagram but you need to check and make sure that you have a good power and ground at the dist. The Case is the ground even though internally the ground is swicthed to create spark you still need to make sure that one of your engine grounds is not bad.
