smoke coming out of valve cover breather

Default smoke coming out of valve cover breather

i have a 95 lsvtec turbo setup, i have a crome chipped ecu that works fine, my vtec wasnt working before and now i have it working but when i start my car smoke comes out of my breather on my valve cover, and when i drive it my car smokes a lot out of the exhaust. i dont recognize the smell and it is like white to blue tinted smoke

the smoke from the breather is blow by, check ur compression, and do a leak down test, its normal to have blow bym but if its just idleing with a steady sream of smoke theres a problem

yeah sounds like your rings are shot. Did you over heat your engine / or change types of oil?

no overheating or change in oil but i did do a compression test all the way around and cyls 1 2 and 4 had 184 PSI compression and cyl 3 had like 60, and when i put some oil in the cylinder it didnt change at all, to my understanding that means that its either the head gasket, valve seals or valves. I took my head off and the number 3 cyl is all black and oily, i think it is the seals.

If you have stock pistons you probably broke a piston between rings. That is pretty common especially in cyl#3.
