4" downpipe and exhaust
8,8:1 messured compression
Red line 10k-10,5k
Peak and hold driver
vtec point set at 4500rpm
DTA P8 PRO stand alone engine management with coil on plug.
Tilton twin disc
SX performance big as pump

I wouldn´t say it is a daily driver but as close as you can get I guess.. I´m not using it for dayly shoping etc but it is a street car and I will do some low boost circuit racing and wekend dragraces on high boost and some fun on the streets. To try to pass emisions test I could forget about long time ago..


We dynoed the engine on an engine dyno to 587hp at 30psi on race gas. We did not play around with the camgears and I think the small WG spring started to open due to exhaust pressure.. The turbo would not boost any more. I will retune on a dynapack next winter with a bigger spring but thinking of doing some upgrades first and would like some recomendations and opinions.

* I want to get some 1600cc injectors and tune on E85.. I have look at some precision 1600´s but it is not as nice as the msd 1000cc I have with 6 hols. The precision was a ball type.. What brand would be a good choice?

* Would I benefit to machine the head to bump the compression to like 9,5:1 ?

* A bigger throttlebody maybe.. but sence my chargepipes are 63mm I thought I might not benefit from a 70mm TB ??.

* The turbo on the wg spring reaches full boost at around 6500rpm and I would like it a bit sooner.. E85 and a .82 ar housing will help but I was looking to skunk 2 pro 1´s couse of the larger primarie lobes. I have also looked at the tuner stage 1s. Will any of these cams support the revs on this b16? Any other turbo cam recomendetions/opinions..??
