Default Attempting first SWAP - Where to start?

I'd say I'm intermediate when it comes to Honda's and motor swapping. I know how to determine parts on the car, but now, I am going to attempt my first swap. There are a lot of guru's out here on H-T, that have provided a lot of food for thought when it comes to swap. I have read all the faqs in the thread above, but I still have some more questions.

To start, I am swapping a B16A into my 97' EK hatch. The B16A is perfectly functional from a salvaged car. The D16Y7 is still in my EK.

First question, what all do I have to take out from the B16A for it to be fully functional in my EK?

There would not be a cherry picker involved, so what should I watch out for?

How do I start the process of taking out the B16A?

Thats about it, I'll keep everyone updated with pictures as soon as the skies clear. Thanks again, H-T gurus.

Its gonna be a fun time. A little trial and error and it'll work. You will need the rear mount from a Del Sol VTEC or a 99-00 Si, as well as the B-series linkage, not from a Del Sol though.
And yeah, a couple energy drinks, electrical tape and some buddies.

Enjoy your first major honda project!!

It did me. Helms or haynes both make awesome oem manuals with detailed pictures and torque specs and everything in between
