How do I know when to increase the Fuel Delivery?
I have a 89 SI hatch. I'm swapping out the intake, intake manifold and Throttle body. In there place I'm adding a cold air intake, a D16Y8 intake manifold and a B-series Throttle body. Since I'm increasing my air intake volume ,can i, or should I increase my fuel delivery?
Thanks

im kinda doing the same thing as you, but im using a d16z6 manifold and a b18a t-body, but i want to port match the manifold to the tbody 1st...i guess you could raise the fuel pressure with that, i mean, youll gain like a hp, if you raise it just right, but you would have to dyno tune it for that...
dyno time.............
FYI D15B7, Z6 intake maifold ported out, CRX Si cam, Stillen header.......
Stock fuel pressure settings on the B&M FPR gave the best power at 118 whp hp.

The MAP sensor "should" notice more air moving through the intake. Sooo, it will tell the ECU to increase the injector pulse width, to handle the increase...

I think the only way the MAP (Manifold Air Pressure sensor) will notice the change is to reset te ECU.The ECU will then spend the first 20-30 minutes learning new information from your driving. Then the MAP sensor should notify the ECU of the changes and can correct Air/ Fuel changes up to 10%.If I've learned what I've read correctly?
