Clutch hits the floor
Hi,
So I havent started my del sol since it was vandalized 2 years ago. They slashed all the hoses ect.. I replaced all the hoses. The clutch resvoir was empty because they slashed the hose connecting to where the bleeder screw is. I filled the resvoir and replaced the hose but my clutch pedal still hits the floor and no fluid is coming out of the bleeder hole or leaving the resvoir. I don't know what else to do. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

bleed the clutch, the reason you are having problems is that when you bled the clutch, i bet there was nothing in the bottle to start with, when you let the pedal bacjk up its easier for the fluid to go back up the line than to stay and suck mor ein from the resovoir. if this doesnt work try the ratcheting method, have another dude suit it the car, open the bleeder, tell himt o press and hold the pedal down, close the bleeder, have him relsease the pedal, you open the bleeder, then he presees and holds again, like so on and you rather the fluid out, or start by gravity bleeding, open the bleeder, and fill the resovoir and just walk away for an hour .
clutch pedal up, walk away for a while, but dont lett he resovoir run out,t hen it was al worthless, then you have to bleed it with pushin the pedal, but if you do it the 2 man way i told you its easier and more thorough

No fluid left the reservoir since my last post. I was attempting the gravitymethod. How could the revoir get clogged? The cap was on but it was bone dry... SHould I pull if off and try to clean it?
Is there a line that can be pinched from underneath the car?

get help or if u wanna do it urself, fill the resovoir, take a gatorade bottle of some sort, then fill it with an inch or two of brake fluid form the new stuff, then take a tight fitting clear hose, plug it onto the bleeder nipple, then dip it into the bottle, make sure the tip is submerdged int he fluid, then push the brake pedal ur self a couple of timew, this fluid will help keep the stuff in the line from sucking back up.
