Default Did a seafoam treatment, now I have bad valve noise...

A day or so after my Seafoam they started making noise, pretty loud at about 3k rpm. The motor is just a jdm D15B but it my daily and i'm about to sell it. I'm never hard on it as its just a stock motor..

Suggestions??

Can i do a valve adjustment on the d15b?

probably the seafom cleared up all the crap and crud that was help sealing your valves! hahahahhahahaah a lil too much! hahaha. it never hurts to do a valve adjustment unless you do it wrong.

do a valve adjustment. you didnt hurt your motor at all, you probably just burnt out all the junk in your motor. you did half of the matenence and come on here and complain that seafoams no good because it causes your valves to knock, but you havent adjusted them, so tell me why using seafoams bad?

Point out to me where I once said anything negative against the treatment.. I just said what happened and asked for advice on how to correct it.

People like you that sit around waiting for the opportunity to complain about the post without any helpful input need to gtfo.

Thanks "bpkmrtoes"! I'll try the adjustment.
