i have a 2000 civic ex with a blown d16y8 i was wondering if it be possible to swap in a d15b vtec obd2 long block using my engine parts that are still good on my y8 engine? parts are: dizzy,starter,alternator,harness,ecu,mounts,tranny and basically everything besides the y8 short block. reason for wanting to swap it to a d15b because i have a buddy that has one lying around to donate.
