Non-SR glovebox in SR chassie
Hello Member,
Please no bashing I did use the search tool and found nothing pertaining to my question. I'm in the process of installing a Non SR glovebox in a SR chassie. The glovebox came out of my 93 civic hb CX, and I would like to put it into my 94 Civic coupe EX. The reason I would like to do this is due to the non-SR glovebox has much more volume. Anywway, I tried doing this and I'm interfering with my duct in the rear. Is the location of the blower and the duct different with a SR and non-SR chassie? Any advice would help.
Thanks

anyone?
I hightly doubt the heater unit is in a different location for SR chassie. I even removed parts of the airbag bracing hoping more clearence would be added. I was wrong; still interference.

I got my nose in while I attemped to install the airbox again and I was surprised to see that the right duct vent above the glove box interfers with the closing of the glovebox. Its hits big time. I guess that means that the SR chassies have different duct vent in this location when compare to non SR chassies. Anyone know this information?
