Default glove box question

i had posted up a few questions a while back about glove boxes. i have a 93 civic hb dx. so obviously no air bag on the passenger side. when i bought the car it didnt have a glovebox. i posted here asking and most everythone said that i could use any glove box for a 2dr/3dr didnt matter if it was for a dash with and airbag or not. they just said i could use a dx in an air bag one.

so i bought a glove box off of ebay for like 25 bucks and from the looks of it its not fitting right. it has some srs info on the glove box so im guessing that it was off like a 94-95.

any way to make it fight right?

it is an OEM one...its not like they make an aftermarket one. and like USDM said...they're like 200 bucks for a honda dealer.

I've always thought the airbag glove box and non airbag glove boxes don't work on each other. I have an extra black one at home. If its non air bag you can have it for cheap

I've tried one from a non srs car into a 94 with srs and it wouldn't work no matter what I tried.

i don't really think there is a difference in srs or not. also you don't need any brackets, it bolts straight to the dash. keep trying, they are a pain in the *** though.
