i bought a cheap eBay 35mm waste gate because of money problems i could afford a tial but does anyone know if the top vacuum port on the waste gate go to the manifold or the turbo

 

There are two vac ports on the wastegate as you know. The top one is used ONLY if you're running certain Electronic Boost Controllers. The side port is used for the vac line to the intake manifold/turbo. If you're running a Manual Boost Controller (MBC), you still run on the side port.
