Default GC and Koni Yellows

okay, well i bought these awhile back, but not sure if i installed them on correctly. just coming on here to make sure i did it right, but lmk what you guys know.

i have gc's and koni yellows. wasn't sure if the sleeves are put on wrong, but are the taller sleeves for the fronts and the shorter sleeves for the rears? not even sure if i put the right coils on the right ends, but i'll have to jack the car up for pics. lmk...i'll post pics up if needed. thanks!

nothing is wrong with the set up...just wanted to make sure, i might have put the taller springs in the back..maybe that's why it is a bit more bouncier even though i adjust the shock to be even...not too soft, not to stiff...i'm going to jack the car up to make sure i didn't do this...thanks!!!

teins/ff/d2 are garbage...

koni/gc are a great setup for cheap...

whether they are better or not really depends on desired spring rates, an off the shelf valved koni can only handle a ~450-500 lb spring

i run koni/gc's and i love them

Please forgive me if this sounds retarded, I've never had the GC coilover springs before, although I intend on getting them.... But what is holding that sleeve on the shock? I've always seen "coilovers" like that sitting in a spring perch "cup" or whatever that's built onto the shock body before...

if you look at the picture, more specifically the front struts (center ones) you can see the grooves below the red coilover sleeve. These grooves are for a c clip, and in the picture it is in the highest groove, the red sleeves have an insert that rests on this c clip, these are known as "koni ground control's"

oh alright, that's a pretty sweet setup! I'm trying to lower my car a little bit more and want to get some ground control coilovers but my shocks have the spring cup so I was just making sure there wasn't something prohibiting their use on my setup.
