Default fresh build, same tune?

so my brother is putting his car back together and now it has 9:1 cp pistons instead of the stock b16 ones. he was tuned on ten psi before the build and he was wondering if he would be ok to drive the car with the old tune?

He should be fine to drive it to the tuner
Have the car re-tuned with the new setup.

x2

The car will be fine to drive, but he should not be beating on it at all until it is retuned.
